Tilapia In Our Lake……A quaint Idea!
Back in the day, A previous Board came up with an idea of stocking Tilapia in our lakes to get rid of algae, instead of getting some expensive aerators. Stocking the fish in the lake didn’t cost much—–and anyway —– why not try it? That year we had plenty of algae. And most likely, the Bass ate up all of the Tilapia fingerlings………..NOT SO FAST !!! As you can see, in the video, The Tilapia survived and are doing very well……. You’re watching a Tilapia guard it nest ……containing fish eggs !!!!
